Introduction To DMU

Chosing a right place is a very critical decision for that i have done many researcher which leads me to take the right decision.DMU has invested heavily to develop a beautiful campus with a mixture of traditional and modern study spaces. At the centre of the campus is the impressive Vijay Patel Building, which houses our art and design subjects and the Riverside Cafe. The restored Great Hall of Leicester Castle offers a historical learning environment for our business students. Green spaces surround the campus and students can relax alongside the canal or in Castle Gardens. DMU achieved Gold - the highest possible standard - in the Teaching Excellence Framework (TEF), the only UK Government-endorsed measure of teaching quality in UK higher education (Office for Students, 2017). This recognises the outstanding teaching and learning on offer at DMU. More than 170 of our courses are accredited by professional bodies, meaning students can gain significant exemptions from professional qualifications after graduation. Examples of these accreditations include: Accounting and Finance BA (Hons) - the maximum nine exemptions from the Chartered Certified Accountants (ACCA) exams and eight exemptions from The Chartered Institute of Management Accountants (CIMA) exams Architecture BA (Hons) - accredited by the Royal Institute of British Architects (RIBA) MBA Global - accredited by Chartered Management Institute (CMI) Electrical and Electronic Engineering BEng (Hons) - CEng accredited by the Institution of Engineering and Technology (IET) and fulfils the educational requirements for Chartered Engineer when presented with an accredited MSc.
